On paper, the match-up is not pretty. In terms of importance, it’s huge- so big that NBC just had to flex it. Hopefully, the NFC Worst champ will have a .500 record (meaning the Rams will win). It just seems unfathomable for the Seahawks to take the division at 7-9. Seattle is horrible, plain and simple.

What can be said about this year in sports? Well, as you’re about to see, a lot of strange things. The title says it all. Feel free to throw a fit and criticize everything about it. We all know how testy people get when things are ranked and feelings are hurt. That’s what we’re here for. Anyway, here’s the list…              

It would be nice to see Brett Favre go out a loser. Well, maybe not nice, but certainly fitting. He’s probably not a bad guy, and he’s obviously a Hall of Fame quarterback. Still, with Favre, you have to expect the unexpected. All in all, if this is in fact the end, it’s been…weird.

Ahh, yes…The sports debate of 2010. Should Michael Vick be playing football? Do you believe in second chances? Now, we focus on President Obama’s recent phone call to Eagles owner Jeff Lurie. Should Obama have praised the Philly franchise for allowing Vick back? Oh, and should the star QB be executed? Huh?

Minnesota takes on the Eagles in Philly tonight, rather than the scheduled Sunday night slot. Apparently, we are becoming a “nation of wusses.” Good for you, Governor Rendell. It’s nice to hear a politician not try to be so…politically correct. He’s probably right, anyway.
