Stupid Choice?

After his Cowboys lost to the Eagles, Tashard Choice asked Michael Vick for an autographed glove. It wasn’t even for himself. He made the request for his 3-year-old nephew. Many saw the action as harmless. Nevertheless, Choice was criticized to the point where he felt the need to issue an apology via Twitter. If anything, the lunatics on his case for no sound reason should be the ones apologizing.

Said Channing Crowder: “They do what they do. They cheat. They talk junk. But we beat the hell out of them today.” Jets strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi was obviously wrong to trip Miami gunner Nolan Carroll, who was running the sidelines on a punt return. Should he be punished? Yes. But let’s focus on the latter part of Crowder’s comments, because the Jets have cheated defeat more than once this year, and it’s catching up with them.

We all watched last night. Unless you actually cared about the game and were a Miami fan, you were probably bored and/or let down. Sure, there were boos and chants (“Akron Hates You” was pretty nice), but nothing major- at least nothing visible on television. Let’s Get It On

Andre Johnson and Cortland Finnegan probably hated each other well before their Sunday skirmish. Last year, we saw Finnegan jump on Johnson’s back to prevent a pass completion and Johnson get fined $7,500 for taking Finnegan to the ground by the face mask. This time around, Johnson made sure to get a few punches in. Even better for him, Finnegan should come out looking like the loser.
